Town Centre Regeneration - Cattle Market

Last month (April 2009) saw the opening of new high quality toilets in the Cattle Market car park, behind Marks and Spencer, just a few minutes walk from the High Street. The site was specially selected to meet the needs of both shoppers and visitors.

The new block has been built to meet North Devon Council’s Charter Standard and has baby changing facilities, unisex cubicles, urinals and disabled facilities.

This site is within a conservation area and North Devon Council’s architects carefully designed the toilet block with a curved zinc roof and natural stone walls so it fits in with the unique character and history of the cattle market.
