Family Crochet Workshop

Where: Barnstaple Museum

When: Wed 24th Oct

Time: 10:30 - 15:30

Make and design a textile wall hanging with artist Zoe Curtis at this free workshop for families which incorporates basic crochet skills. Materials are provided but feel free to bring along a piece of driftwood from the beach, a stick from the woods or ribbons and fibers from home which you would like to include. A ribbon from Nana’s sewing box; Grandad’s silk handkerchief; little pieces of family history and home can easily be transformed into something you can make and treasure together.

This free house and home themed event is bookable only (max 3 spaces each) due to limited space. It takes place at our Popup Museum on the Strand opposite The Watergate Wetherspoons with a lunch break at 12:30pm. Recommended ages are from 5 years old upwards.

Contact the museum on 01271 346747 to book early and avoid disappointment.
