With summer just round the corner, Barnstaple town centre businesses are already starting to think about Christmas, but they need you to answer one simple question-
“Which day would you prefer late night Christmas shopping?”
Whilst it may seem an odd time of year to be asking Town Centre Management are keen to establish whether the public would prefer to enjoy their late night shopping in the town on a Thursday or Friday.
Peter Banbury, Barnstaple Town Centre Management chairman explained, “we moved Christmas late night shopping back in 2006 partly as a trial, and partly in response to comments from traders at the time. We feel now is the right time to review those plans and ask the most important people to us as retailers – our customers which evening they would prefer, a Thursday or a Friday?”
