Stained Glass – An Introductory Course

This is a fantastic opportunity to learn from experts in the field of conservation. The day will consist of the following:

Introduction to Cliveden Conservation and ‘how I got into conservation.’
Best practice in conservation – do’s & don’ts with stained glass windows  materials, repairs, inappropriate mortars.
Introduction to stained glass.
Introduction to safe working practices.
Use of copper foil.
Laying out your panel.
Glass cutting techniques and methodology.
You will then have the opportunity to create and produce a small panel.
