Family drop in Craft Workshop
Where: St Anne's Art's & Community Centre, Barnstaple.
When: Wed 27th May
Time: 11am - 4pm
How much: Free
Families are invited to join Liz Wilde, local print maker, for a free drop in workshop at St Anne’s Arts Centre. We will be making and decorating wall hangings to be used in the building when there is an event on. This is a chance to make your mark on the building (in a non permanent, Grade 1 listed friendly way!). It's going to be bright and colourful and exciting! Bring your imagination along to join in between 11am – 4pm, it's a day for children and adults to make something together so suitable for any age from 1 to 100, everyone is welcome.
We love the beautiful simple white walls in the historic building but sometimes we just need a bit of colour! Liz is a fantastic workshop leader and has a wonderful vision of what can be created during the day, I can’t wait to see the results and hang them up in St Anne’s.
You can also receive a free Heritage Trail Activities booklet from the Heritage Centre on this day, just pop into the Heritage Centre Shop to ask for your copy and then head out round the town. The trail matches the audio tour which you can download for free from the Town Council website http://www.barnstapletowncouncil.co.uk/heritage-trail-tours.asp
