ARTIST RESEARCH AND MANAGEMENT WITH ART MAKERS

Learn about our local community of 300+ creatives from North Devon and Torridge, and how to develop new marketing opportunities for local artists and makers.

While on placement, you will be in contact with art galleries and art fairs from across the country, building relationships and conducting research. You will learn how to research and identify suitable spaces for artists, how to communicate with professionals from across the industry, and how to present your research findings.

You may also have the opportunity to attend fairs and galleries outside of the region (subject to everyone’s availability), providing priceless insight into the visual arts industry.

This is a fantastic opportunity to embed yourself within the visual arts world, both regionally and nationally. This placement is open to applicants 16 and older.

If your initial application is successful, you will be asked to attend a short chat with Phil and Hilary from Art Makers to assess your suitability. This will be arranged at a time to suit all.
