What is Flourishing Barnstaple?
Flourishing Barnstaple is a North Devon Council initiative which has been made possible thanks to support from the Cultural Development Fund, administered by Arts Council England, on behalf of the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport. For more information on the fund, visit here.
The aim of the initiative is to revitalise Barnstaple, by supporting, developing, promoting cultural activity within the town.

Who has created this website?
The website is one of the outputs named in the Cultural Development Fund bid, which is being administered by North Devon Council and is funded by the Government through arts council England.
A mix of people from local business, local authorities and cultural practitioners are members of the Barnstaple town team for culture where ideas for the website were developed.
Although the Cultural Development fund only lasts until 2026, the mix of various local authorities and groups being involved will ensure this legacy project continues going forwards.
