SCIENCE EXPLORERS – a kid’s science workshop

STEM EXPLORERS: Wheels, Wings & Whizzes is an engineering science workshop led by the Devon Science team in collabroration with Barnstaple Library

At this workshop, children will make these amazing vehicles-inspired toys to keep:

• a UV colour changing boat using pipe cleaners, UV beads and normal beads
• a zooming air powered car (uses balloons), build and decorate and zoom!
• a swooping glider from a paper plate! Cut, colour and balance it correctly for a super-glide!

There will be fun demonstrations too.

The workshop:

• is perfect for ages 4-10
• is 90 mins of science activities which includes take aways
• suitable for SEND
