Root Cause Project was founded by veterans bringing together lived experience, professional expertise and a shared vision to create meaningful change for veterans, serving personnel and their families. Built on the belief that connection, purpose and belonging are fundamental to wellbeing, Root Cause provides grounded, experience-led support through practical outdoor skills, bushcraft, shared challenges and community.

The founders recognised that traditional support pathways do not work for everyone, and created a space where people can reconnect, develop resilience and build relationships in an authentic and informal environment. Through their sessions and community activities, Root Cause Project has helped individuals overcome isolation, strengthen confidence and rediscover a sense of belonging.
