Calvert Exmoor

Calvert Exmoor, based near Barnstaple at Wistlandpound Reservoir, is an outdoor activity centre and charity that enables people with physical, learning, sensory, behavioural and complex disabilities to achieve their potential through accessible activities.

The centre provides a unique holiday destination and day out for people with disabilities and their families, carers and friends. “At Calvert Trust Exmoor it’s what you CAN do that counts” sums up our philosophy.

Visitors take on fun and exciting challenges with help and encouragement, make friends, develop new skills, build self-confidence and gain greater independence. By the time guests leave, their physical and mental wellbeing has improved, they have created wonderful memories and accomplished far more than they had ever dreamed possible.

Activities on offer include abseiling, climbing, zip-wiring, canoeing, biking, horse-riding and more.
