SAND is dedicated to breaking the stigma around sexual trauma and offering vital support to survivors. Since 2016, we’ve provided professional, accessible, and affordable counselling services across North Devon. Our core activities include offering low-cost counselling, creating safe spaces in collaboration with local initiatives, and delivering holistic, survivor-focused trauma stabilisation methods and support.

We emphasise mental health improvement by empowering survivors, enhancing their sense of safety, and promoting well-being. Partnering with local organisations, we address the high suicide risk among our clients and raise community awareness about sexual violence.

SAND has an holistic approach which combines therapeutic interventions, peer support networks, and creative programs to foster recovery and resilience. By expanding services to new areas and engaging younger populations in prevention, we are committed to building healthier, safer communities.
