Call for submissions on the theme, ‘This is me’

Our new Young Digital Documentary Open Exhibition asks young people aged 14–18 years to the theme of ‘This is me’, exploring through documentary photography who they are now and how they relate to the world around them.

Photographs should reflect what the theme means to you. For the first time in the history of the Annual Documentary Open, we are also accepting composite photographs.

The exhibition will run from May to July 2026 and will reflect who we are, and the roots and traditions that make us who we are.

Entries to the Young Digital Open will be exhibited digitally in the exhibition and online.

Entry submission dates: 1 December 2025 – 11 April 2026

Exhibition dates: 23 May – 4 July 2026
